About this role.

Are you a dynamic Finance professional with a passion for numbers, ready to take your finance career to the next level? This is your chance to join our UK FP&A Team as a Junior Finance Analyst – Business FP&A and play a key role in transforming finance processes while growing with us. As a Junior Finance Analyst, you'll be at the core of our financial planning and reporting processes, with a focus on:
 

  • Performance Reporting: Prepare, consolidate, and analyse daily and weekly trackers, plus support the production of monthly P&Ls and balance sheets. You’ll also dive into ad-hoc reports, detecting errors, and making data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Forecasting: Work on our 13-week Tracker Forecasts, quarterly rolling forecasts, and 3-year business plans. You’ll prepare templates and perform variance analysis to explain discrepancies, ensuring accuracy.
  • Costing & Pricing: Partner with procurement to provide data for price forecasting, update pricing info, and contribute to costing analyses like product launch reviews or promotional impact assessments.
  • Communication & Change Management: Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, driving process improvement and harmonisation across the UK FP&A team.
  • Control Environment: Assist with internal and external audit activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Must-Haves:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – clarity is key!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of operational finance, financial forecasting, and analysis.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • An interest in professional accounting qualifications (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is a bonus, but not essential!
